Tickets Required for the Friday Collectors’ Event

In 2016, the third annual Collectors’ event will be held. It has been well received by collectors, artists, and event organizers. In fact, our event has become so popular that the crowds have outgrown the intimate space of the gallery. The collectors have asked for more time and space to view and purchase paintings. As a result, this year’s event will require a ticket, to be purchased in advance. The public will be able to view paintings the following Saturday in the Gallery.

One hundred paintings will be exhibited including the paintings from the Canoe Beach Quick Draw sponsored by Mala, Honu, and Frida’s restaurants. Minimum artwork sizes are 8″x10″ and maximum size is typically 16″x20″. In addition, this year artists are allowed to exhibit one larger painting not to exceed 20″x24″.

Tickets are $100 plus a processing fee of $5 per person of which $50 can be used towards the purchase of a painting and $50 is a tax-deductible donation to Maui Arts League (501c3) – the organization responsible for management of the event. The Collectors’ Gala event is being sponsored by Maui Prime Fine Foods, a gourmet market in Lahaina. They provide the best in fresh specialty meats, seafood, cheeses and wines. This evening will include gourmet passed hors d’oeuvres and beverages.

Tickets can be purchased now. Scroll down to complete the ticket request form. You will receive an email invoice for payment, allowing you to use your credit card. Your tickets are not confirmed until the invoice has been paid. You will receive confirmation of your ticket purchase and the ticket(s) will be at Will Call the evening of the event.  Tickets may be purchased at Village Galleries in Lahaina, as well.

Note: Collectors purchasing any of the 15 ‘award’ paintings are asked to leave their purchase/(s) and pick up at the gallery any time on Sunday. This is being done to showcase all the award winning paintings in one location within the gallery for the general public viewing on Saturday. Saturday gallery hours have been expanded to four hours from the usual two hour timeframe. See the Artists’ Aloha Reception section for details regarding event.
